Donate to Village Drive Village
Most Important: A Word of Thanks: We thank sincerely the people whose donations have made the development and growth of Village Drive Village possible. Without these generous gifts, we could not have covered the expenses we incur in excess of our very low membership fees. And so we say THANK YOU to:
Several of our business donors provided grants for a bench for our neighborhood park. Other businesses donated money, supplies, and refreshments for our 2019 Neighborhood National Night Out, which we sponsor to have our neighborhood become better acquainted with our local law enforcement and emergency responder teams. Read more about the 2019 Neighborhood Night Out on our stories page.
Why do we need money when we’re just neighbors helping neighbors? Maybe in a perfect world we wouldn’t need money because there’d be no web site, no phone, no paper or printer cartridges, no postage, no bank, no need to protect our people from liability for accidents, no need to do background checks on our wonderful volunteers, no hundreds of dollars in fees for Virginia incorporation and for filing a federal 1023-EZ form.
But we have these expenses and more, and our small membership fees just won’t cover it all. We need your donations, large or small. We’ve set up Amazon Pay to handle it because we don’t want to know your credit card numbers but, of course, we accept checks, too.
To make sure that all donations qualify for tax exemptions, we achieved one of the fastest 501(c)(3) approvals the U.S. IRS has ever given, and now it’s time for us to do our most necessary jobs: raising that tax-exempt money.
So, please, click this button and donate what you can to help our older neighbors stay in their wonderful neighborhood homes.
